The Snapp Group has unveiled its detailed performance report for 2024, spanning over 280 pages. The report provides extensive insights into the company's operations but leaves certain questions unanswered.

According to Digiato, annual reports are becoming less common among digital economy businesses. However, Snapp has maintained this tradition for five years, emphasizing its commitment to transparency and credible information. The report is directed at analysts, investors, policymakers, and technology professionals tracking data trends for strategic decisions.

As of March 2024, Snapp's super app had over 81,537,000 user accounts, with more than 39,200,000 active accounts. The company clarified that multiple accounts can belong to a single individual.

In 2024, approximately 9 million new accounts were added, reflecting a user growth rate of 12.67% compared to the previous year.

The top five fastest-growing services based on successful orders in 2024 were: "Credit Installment Service," "Store," "SnappBox," "Supermarket," and "Food." Orders for the Credit Installment Service surged by 202%. Services like "Bus" and "Train," which performed strongly in 2023, were surpassed by SnappBox and Food services in 2024.

The most visited services in 2024 included "SnappCar," "Food," "Supermarket," "Credit Installment Service," and "SnappBox."

Ride-Hailing Market Share and Revenue Challenges

SnappCar data shows ride-hailing services accounted for an average of 7-8% of urban trips in 2024, up from 5.5-6% in the previous year. Personal transportation dominated urban mobility with a 45-50% share in Iran’s ten largest cities, followed by public transportation at 35-40%. Ride-hailing services outperformed traditional taxis, capturing more than a 3% share.

Snapp claimed an 88.7% share of the ride-hailing market in 2024, slightly lower than the 92% reported in 2023. Despite this decline, the company stated its market share exceeded 90% by August 2025. Revenue dropped by approximately 7%, which Snapp attributed to GPS disruptions during regional conflicts.

Driver numbers reached around 7,417,000 in total, with over 3,692,000 active drivers. Gender distribution showed approximately 323,200 female drivers in 2024, marking a slight increase. Full-time drivers earned an average monthly income of about 41,500,000 Iranian tomans, while part-time drivers made approximately 14,600,000 tomans.

Service Growth and Safety Data

Safety-related statistics reveal passengers filed 75% of trip safety requests, while drivers accounted for the remaining 25%. Passengers used the "I can’t speak" feature over 35,317 times; however, only 21% were categorized as relevant. Similarly, drivers filed 40,073 emergency reports, of which only 15% were deemed relevant.

SnappBox saw a trip growth rate of 33.68%, with over 149 million trips logged. Around 620,000 active drivers supported this service.

For SnappFood, active users totaled nine million out of the platform’s registered 26 million accounts. Popular dishes included "Kebab," "Chicken Kebab," and "American Pizza." However, on-time delivery rates fell slightly to about 82%, down from 85% in 2023.

The SnappPay service experienced significant growth in transaction volumes: a rise of approximately 295% in total amounts during the year under review. Installment credit purchases grew by about 202%, with beauty and health products leading demand categories.

Meanwhile, SnappMarket revealed online grocery sales represented just three percent of Iran's total market share in this sector globally. The report highlighted substantial growth opportunities within domestic and international markets.
