In a world where e-commerce is breaking new boundaries daily, smart logistics has become a vital pillar of economic growth. In Iran, Digiexpress, the logistics arm of Digikala Group, plays a key role in shaping modern transportation and delivery infrastructures.
The company’s 2024 - 2025 annual report provides a clear picture of Digiexpress's growth, innovation, and impact over the past year.
95.1 Percent On-Time Delivery Rate
The year 2024 - 2025 marked a transformation in infrastructure and an acceleration in digital processes for Digiexpress. By leveraging technology, data, and specialized teams, the company managed daily deliveries of tens of thousands of packages with precise scheduling.
Using artificial intelligence to optimize routes, manage fleets intelligently, and upgrade operational software helped achieve an on-time delivery (OTD) rate of 95.1 percent.
During this year, more than 34 million packages were transported across the country by Digiexpress. In Tehran alone, over 15 million packages reached buyers, making it the record-holder for the highest volume of shipments in the nation. This level of delivery equates to ringing the doorbell of 30 homes every minute.
1.6 Million Packages Delivered Through ‘Today and Tomorrow’ Service

Digiexpress now offers a range of multi-layered services to businesses and customers. Services include same-day and next-day delivery, scheduled delivery, in-person pickups from lockers and collection points, and seller-packaged deliveries (FBM). Each service is designed to meet the needs of specific user groups.
The ‘Today and Tomorrow’ delivery service alone covered over 1.6 million shipments in 2024 - 2025, reflecting more than a 105 percent growth compared to the previous year. Additionally, over 30 million packages were delivered via scheduled delivery services, marking an 11 percent increase from the previous year.
This year, Digiexpress focused more on expanding the number of smart lockers and in-person pickup centers (collection points). The number of collection points grew by more than 70 percent to reach 480 locations. These points help customers collect their packages at any hour in public spaces like stores, cafes, and post offices.
Driver Super App Launch
One of the most important sections of Digiexpress’s annual report is dedicated to its technology and product team. This team served as the driving force behind innovation in the company over the past year.
The dropshipping platform, one of the team’s products, enables direct transfer of goods from suppliers to customers. It covers a significant portion of Digikala’s shipments. This model reduces costs, speeds up delivery times, and eliminates repetitive processes in the logistics chain.
Additionally, the launch of the driver super app streamlined processes for receiving and delivering goods. It reduced operational errors and improved fleet efficiency, benefiting drivers significantly.
27 Percent Growth in Active Drivers
Digiexpress’s fleet recorded a 27 percent growth in active personnel by recruiting thousands of new drivers. A total of over 6,400 drivers worked with Digiexpress as contractors, freelancers, or employees.
The average age of drivers was 35 years old, with the youngest being 18 years old. Furthermore, Digiexpress successfully reduced per-order costs by an average of 15 to 20 percent without impacting driver income levels.
Future Plans for Digiexpress
According to Alishad Etezadi, CEO of Digiexpress, the company’s focus for the upcoming years will be on expanding into new markets, enhancing customer experience, and redefining quality standards in Iran’s logistics industry.
He believes logistics is not only the backbone of e-commerce but also the driving force for digital economic growth in the country. Digiexpress aims to become a symbol of this transformation.
