Iranian home services platform Achareh has published its 1403 annual report (2024 - 2025), announcing that after eight years in operation, it now serves more than 3.5 million users with over 340 services across 32 main categories. The company estimates it controls 50% of Iran’s online home services market.
The report traces Achareh’s growth since its 2017 launch, highlighting the expansion of its professional network alongside rising demand. According to the platform, 210,980 specialists are currently active on Achareh, covering trades ranging from auto repair, plumbing, and electrical work to decoration and cleaning services.
6.2 Million Orders Since 2017
Between 2017 and 2025, Achareh processed over 6.2 million service orders, with more than 5,000 daily orders handled in 1403 alone through its bulk order management system. The company said its order conversion rate - completed jobs as a share of registered requests - rose from 30% in 2017 to 53% in 2024/25.
Most Popular Services: Repairs and Renovation
Building repairs and renovations were the top service category in 1403, accounting for 31.5% of all orders. Within this segment, building wiring and cabling (about 103,000 requests) and painting (around 85,000 requests) were the most sought-after services.
Achareh also reported rising female participation, with women now making up nearly 15% of registered professionals. The company described this as a step toward empowering women through flexible work opportunities.
Income Growth Outpacing Wages
The report states that the average annual income of Achareh specialists climbed from 1.9 million tomans in 2017 to 130 million tomans in 2024/25 - a 68-fold increase. Over the same period, official government-set wages grew just 13-fold.
Specialist Complaints: Nonpayment Tops List
Achareh’s support team said 28% of support calls came from specialists, with nonpayment by customers cited in over 65% of complaints.
Achareh’s subsidiary focused on large-scale construction and renovation, Achareh-Sazeh, completed 1,563 projects and handled 2,792 maintenance requests in recent years. Its annual sales rose from 30 billion tomans in 2021 to 148 billion tomans in 2024/25, a nearly 5x increase. The unit expanded its service coverage from 17 locations in 2021 to 970 active sites by the end of 1403.
While Tehran remains the core market, Achareh reported 1.21 million service requests from other cities. The largest shares came from Isfahan (27.9%), Karaj (25%), and Mashhad (13.9%).
Framing itself as a case study of resilience in Iran’s turbulent economy, Achareh said its success demonstrates how “transparency, innovation, and a deep understanding of human needs” can turn a small idea into a nationwide service platform.
