The Chief of Staff of the President announced that the process of deactivating white (unfiltered) SIM cards for all holders, including government members, is underway.
Mohsen Hajimirzaei explained that since the initial decision for filtering was made by the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, its cancellation must also be done by this council. Hajimirzaei noted that the prerequisites set by the council are being pursued.
He also confirmed, in response to how Masoud Pezeshkian's order to 'blacken all white lines' is being implemented, that unfiltered internet access will be removed for all users.
Impact on Government Officials
When asked whether the white lines of government members are also subject to this order, he said, 'Anyone who has a white line.'
