SamanTel, a virtual mobile operator, officially unveiled its eSIM technology during a ceremony today. The event featured the first connection of an iPhone to an eSIM facilitated by Akbar Ghahri, the company's CEO.

Ghahri stated during the ceremony, "At SamanTel, we aim not only to provide services but to create experiences. The launch of eSIM marks a significant step toward realizing this goal. Through this service, we empower our customers with choice, security, and simplicity while enabling businesses to thrive in the digital world and embrace the Internet of Things like never before."

Ahmad Mojtahed, Chairman of the Board of Saman Bank, commented during the event that SamanTel is now positioned as a leader among virtual operators.

The eSIM technology represents a new generation of SIM cards that are digitally integrated into smartphones and smart devices, eliminating the need for physical cards. This innovation offers faster network access, greater flexibility for switching operators, and enhanced security for users. Starting today, individuals can connect to the country's mobile network with a simple activation process, bypassing the limitations of traditional SIM cards and avoiding in-person visits.

SamanTel is an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and a subsidiary of Saman Bank, which began operations in 2016.
