In a ceremony attended by senior executives of MCI (Hamrah-e-Aval), Mahdiar Aghanasir was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Harkat Avval, the company's venture capital subsidiary. This leadership transition follows the recent resignation of former CEO Mohammad Mehdi Abbaskhani from the position.

The formal handover ceremony took place on Monday, May 14, 2025, with several key figures in attendance including members of Harkat Avval's board of directors, Abbas Noorbakhsh who serves as MCI's Deputy of Organizational and Human Capital Development, and Reza Sobhani representing MCI's CEO.

During his inaugural address, the newly appointed CEO Aghanasir stressed the importance of continuing MCI's digital transformation path, characterizing Harkat Avval's function as fundamentally critical to this strategic direction. He elaborated that "As MCI evolves from being purely a telecommunications provider into a comprehensive technology company, Harkat Avval will act as its strategic investment vehicle, concentrating on generating intelligent value within Iran's growing digital landscape."

Aghanasir brings substantial executive experience to his new role, having previously served as Chairman of the Board for both Part Net and Talia companies. His professional background also includes serving as CEO of Bhartel, overseeing procurement operations at MCI, and working as International Advisor to MCI's Chief Executive Officer.

The outgoing CEO Mohammad Mehdi Abbaskhani, who stepped down from leading Harkat Avval, assumed new responsibilities last October when he was appointed as the legal representative of Harkat Avval while also taking on the role of Chairman of the Board at Digikala Group, one of Iran's leading e-commerce platforms.
