Representatives from Digikala, Khanoumi, Basalam, and Technolife held a joint meeting with the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries.
According to the Iran's E-Commerce Development Center, participants discussed connecting online stores, exchanging commercial data, and improving logistical processes during the online session.
Wildberries is one of the largest online retail platforms in Russia. It operates in several countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
Attendees and Topics of Discussion
The meeting included representatives from the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, the Center for Cooperation and Progress under the Iranian presidency, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Department of International Licensing, the Domestic Trade Development Department, and the Union of Russian Electronic Companies.
During the session, participants introduced their respective areas of activity. They also discussed creating infrastructure for future operations.
Plans for Future Cooperation in E-Commerce Section
It was agreed that Iranian and Russian platforms will hold additional meetings. These will focus on operational solutions, platform connection models, and developing tools to facilitate e-commerce growth.
