The 'Comprehensive Plan for Promoting and Enhancing Digital Literacy' has been approved by Iran's High Commission for Promoting Digital Content Production. Representatives from various institutions participated in the meeting.

The plan was endorsed during the 162nd session of the High Commission for Promoting Digital Content Production. Seyyed Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, Secretary of the Supreme Council and Head of the National Cyberspace Center, presided over the session. Senior managers and authorized representatives from cooperating institutions were also in attendance.

Goals of the Digital Literacy Plan

According to the National Cyberspace Center, the plan aims to establish a national movement to promote digital literacy. It seeks to make digital knowledge, insight, and skills accessible to the general public. The initiative is designed to support influencers and organizations involved in digital literacy, including platforms, associations, and private sector entities.

The plan emphasizes unified policymaking at the national level and coordinated collaboration among agencies. It envisions creating a robust digital literacy ecosystem that serves as a foundation for responsible development in modern communications.

Implementation and Oversight

The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was tasked with drafting the plan. The ministry will act as the national facilitator, coordinator, and oversee the executive secretariat. Under the supervision of the National Cyberspace Center, it will work with relevant organizations to ensure the plan's goals are achieved.

Key Features of the Document
