Iranian ride-hailing company Tapsi generated 255 billion tomans in revenue during September, marking only a modest increase compared to the previous month and highlighting how far the platform remains from its pre-war peak.
According to figures published on Codal, Tapsi reported 254.9 billion tomans in revenue for September, up slightly from 247 billion tomans in August. Despite this small month-on-month growth, the platform has yet to recover the strong performance it achieved earlier this year.
Back in May 2025, Tapsi reached a record high of 368 billion tomans, but its monthly revenues have since failed to cross the 300 billion tomans threshold following the 12-day war and its aftermath.
While the company has not issued an official statement explaining the slowdown, industry observers point to multiple public holidays in September as one factor that may have restricted demand and reduced trip volumes.
On a year-over-year basis, however, Tapsi’s performance shows improvement. The September 2025 revenue reflects a 50% increase compared to September 2024, underscoring gradual recovery despite ongoing challenges.
