Tapsi's revenue in July was halved compared to May this year. The ride-hailing company earned 186 billion and 982 million tomans during the month.
According to Digiato, Tapsi's monthly performance report on Codal highlighted several factors behind the revenue drop. The company cited 'ongoing special conditions in the country during July, holidays, and disruptions in GPS functionality' as reasons for the significant decrease in trips.
Tapsi's Revenue Breakdown
The commission received from drivers using Tapsi's platform amounted to nearly 180 billion tomans. Additionally, the company earned over 3 billion tomans from its phone service.
In comparison, Tapsi's revenue was 368 billion tomans in May and 292 billion tomans in June. The decline in June was also attributed to the onset of war, which impacted the operations of the ride-hailing service.
