The Handala hacker group announced it has hacked Iran International TV, gaining access to the network’s data.
Handala claimed possession of complete identity files for more than 71,000 individuals who have contacted the network. The hackers categorized, listed, and archived these data.
Handala, known for cyberattacks on Israeli targets, published partial stolen data on its Telegram channel, but the channel was subsequently blocked. The leaked information included details about Iran International’s staff and audience members.
Iran International stated that the stolen data came from Telegram accounts of its employees linked to two separate cyberattacks in summer 2024 and January 2025.
Handala's hacking of Iran International is one of its latest cyber operations, underlining the group’s ongoing cyber offensive capabilities.
